There You Were

More and more I have come to believe in the importance of rituals and transitions. This visit Pat and i made to my parents' gravesite was the time to truly understand they were both on the other side of this life now. Time to imagine and ponder the roles they each and both have now. Guardians and guides. Part of a bigger story, part of a timeless song. No longer here in tangible ways yet still part of life. The process of understanding their new place will continue to evolve.
