The first song on this final Podcast of the Gratitude, Grit, and Grace Concert is called “I’m Home.” “Home” has been described in many different ways. It is “where the heart is.” It is that place where people have to take you in. It was something to step off the stage at Benaroya Hall after this concert and have faith that I was finally home. I KNEW it. I may never be able to explain exactly what it means. I was finally at home with myself. It’s a good feeling. “There You Were” is an attempt to connect the journey to the many who played a role and the special few who played defining roles. Thank you. “Let Love Go Forward” was written for my wedding years ago. It has become an anthem of sorts as well as a wish and a sort of benediction.
