Gratitude, Grit and Grace Concert #5

There may be nothing more cleansing – more healing – than simply speaking and sharing truth. That was the case when my mother – sixty-five years after I was born – acknowledged she was not ready for a new baby when I was born. There are lots of reasons it is hard to “come clean.” There is shame or guilt or pride or fear or we are simply embarrassed. As the song about that moment with my mother says, “It is never too late for a healing moment.” The other song in this Podcast is about my grandson’s celebration as they formally became part of an ancestral line going to Thomas the Apostle. It was special to witness such a moment, a moment that continues to grow in significance.
