Campfire Chronicle #6 "All the Stages of My Life" is now available on YouTube
In this Campfire Chronicle I talk about my relationship with Mike McCoy. The way I do it is to imagine shoeboxes full of images from different times in our lives. A Nike shoebox contains pictures from the first 15 years a Birkenstock shoebox pictures from the next half dozen. Photos from the next eighteen years are stored in a shoebox that once held Bostonian dress shoes. The last ten years the images are digital and contained on thumb drives that are stored in a New Balance box shoes that I wear now with orthotics. This Campfire Chronicle was a fun way to think about all the places McCoy and I been and the experiences that we’ve shared.
Yet more important than where we’ve been is where we are and where we’re going. As I said when I introduced the third part of McCoy’s and my Campfire Conversation: “Through it all we’ve somehow believed our best song is the one we’re singing and the best day the one we’re living. The most amazing this is that because we’ve kept the faith the world has often proven us right.”
