The Castaways circa 1963

This is a photo of The Castaways taken in my front yard. My singing partner all through high school, Dan Eaton, is holding the guitar. Joe Allison, is playing the bass. He is also wearing the striped shirt that we wore when we performed. That is me holding an Ode long necked banjo. It is still around. Joe and Dan are also still around. We have stayed in touch and remained friends. Joe lives on Vashon Island not far from Seattle. Dan continues to live in Spokane. The three of us sang a song together at a concert in 1997.
