The story behind the song "We've Already Said 'Goodbye'"

When McCoy and I performed at Meany Hall in June of 1983 we did a remote recording of the concert in hopes we might be able to turn those recordings into another album. (A follow up for "Between Friends.") For lots of reasons there was no "next album." We did remaster and release "Between Friends" on CD in 2006. When we did we added half a dozen songs from the 1983 concert as "Bonus Tracks." There was one song we mixed but did not make the "final cut." It was called "We've Already Said 'Goodbye.'" It has sat in "the vault" for over 40 years. Thought you might like to hear it.
