The Beginning of the Rainbow

Solo

When I was living in Los Angeles I wrote a children’s story called "The Beginning of the Rainbow." It is “search for home” story. The story was rejected by a number of publishers before ending up in a drawer for almost thirty-five years. As part of One of Those Times in a Life I recently re-read the story and remembered anew the writing of it.

In this Post you can see some of the original “manuscript,” listen to me read the first few pages, read the first few chapters of the story, as well as see the Map of Ivan’s adventures that Dan Byers created to illustrate the story.

As often happens these days I am filled anew with a sense of gratitude for this amazing journey and the people (real and imagined) who populate and share it.

There is also an mp3 of another song I wrote in LA called "Still You Came." Please enjoy.
