Dr. Bernard LaFayette and Kingian Non-Violence

Dr. Bernard LaFayette met with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the morning on April 4, 1968. A few hours before he was violently murdered, Dr. King urged Dr. LaFayette to "carry non-violence to the world." It is a call to action that Dr. LaFayette has dedicated his life to. For that the world is a better, more loving place.
