The Brothers Four introduced "Winds of Green" in Japan in 1990. It was written by founding group member, Bob Flick. In writing this song, as well as producing the recording, Bob showcased what The Brothers Four do well. Take a subject and quietly and musically address it. In this case it is giving us a chance to ponder what is important for all of us, the health of the planet. Not a quiet protest, but a melodic affirmation of caring for those whom and that which we love.
