The Northwest Area Music Association Hall of Fame

The Brothers Four were inducted into the Northwest Area Music Association Hall of Fame in the spring of 1989. There was an awards presentation at a theater in downtown Seattle. The big winner that year was a group called the Posies. They won a number of NAMA awards. I think they were the artist of the year had the song of the year and the album of the year. It appeared they were going to be the next big musical act out of the Northwest.

What only a few people knew at the time was that everything was about to change and that Nirvana and the Seattle Grunge were about to make musical history.
