The Brentwood Playhouse Concert

In June of 1978 with the help from many friends we did a concert at the Brentwood Playhouse. McCoy came from Seattle to be part of it as did Alicia Avery. Larry Paxton who was living in LA at the time played bass and guitar.

Pat Sands’ had a wine glass engraved with the concert date (June 25th). The glass has been in my office ever since.
There was a nice review in Billboard Magazine. Here’s a copy of it and a few photos. There is also a recording from that concert of a song featuring McCoy called “Lady on the Run.”
