A couple of Brothers Four songs

The last couple of weeks The Brothers Four have been performing with The Kingston Trio and The Limeliters. More shows are scheduled. Even with multiple changes in personnel the audiences respond enthusiastically to each group and to the evening. There is something in the music! The songs have the power to awaken memories and for a moment to let us know how it feels to be young again.

Part of the magic is that singing the music as a member of The Brothers Four awakens memories in me. It is as if a part of me is a kid again and singing those songs for the first time. Indeed, there is something in the music.

Special kudos to Bob Flick. He is the one person on that stage who was there when it all began more than 60 years ago. No one has represented the music better or longer.
