"Let's Get Together"

The Brothers Four

What is the title of the last Columbia album? “Let’s Get Together.” It is the only Columbia record that did not include Mike Kirkland.

One interesting fact is that Seattle photographer, Wally Ackerman, took the original album cover in Seattle. At the last minute the decision was made to use another photo. Here are photos of both album covers.

Bill Justis produced the album. “Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream” still resonates all these years later. “Wichita Lineman” remains one of Jimmy Webb’s most lasting tunes. I was delighted to be able to sing the solo on that song. I was twenty-one years old.
