Over the years I've written songs about McCoy. This may be my favorite. Written forty years ago. In college McCoy was known as the Golden Boy. All of us were amazed at how gifted he was. Like a lot of us the complete story is a lot more complicated, fascinating, interesting. For years the Golden Boy was a "Mad Man on a High Wire." Until he became the man in full he is now.
