The 18 original songs were recorded in Seattle in 2003 and 2004 using a number of talented local musicians. Many of the songs explore the connection between often contradictory impulses such as "love and fear," "hope and doubt," "joy and despair" and the extraordinary possibilities and what may be created when these contradictions find recognition if not always resolution.
