The seven songs on the album were written for my cousin, Jane, and her family both before and during her battle with cancer.
There is an interesting story about the album cover. On one of my visits to her I talked about a vision I had of the world joining hands. When I got back home I realized she had put a framed picture in my car. As you can see it contains a artist’s rendering of folks forming a circle and joining hands.
Jane lost her battle with cancer 30 years ago. There is an idea that people in some way do not die as long as we say their names and keep their memories alive. This album is a way of doing that.
