The 12 original songs were recorded live in front of a studio audience in 1981. Six additional live tracks from a 1983 Seattle concert were added when the album was remastered and released as a CD in 2006. Pearson and McCoy continue to perform a number of songs from these recordings that represent an important time in their lives and collaboration.
