Songs & Stories From Home Episode 29

Welcome to another Podcast of Songs and Stories from Home

Overall in the course of nearly 60 years of performing, the people I have made music with have been and are more than musical partners they have been and they remain most importantly my friends – often dear and lifelong friends. As you listen to the Chronicle from the 2nd Campfire of One of Those Times in a Life you’ll be seeing pictures of me with the group I sang with in high school  -– with Dan Eaton and Joe Allison – we called ourselves The Castaways – the group I sang with in college – known as the Mourning Ryde - with John Buller, Mike Dwyer, and Mike McCoy -we sang together in the spring of 2019 when I finally graduated from college – there is a video of that moment available on the website and YouTube channel– there’s one of the first publicity photos of me with The Brothers Four in 1969 – with Bob Flick, John Paine, and Dick Foley – there is a recent shot of The Brothers Four when we sang in Hong Kong – with McCoy, Bob Flick and Karl Olsen – there is also a photo from my recent college graduation when we got Mike Kirkland – the guy I replaced in the Brothers Four – on stage for the first time in more than 50 years –a video of that special moment on the website and YouTube channel - lots of music – lots of friendship – lots of gratitude – still not done -
