Old Friends, Brothers Two/Too; From Friendship to Kinship.

Two long-time friends and musical collaborators discuss their 60-year friendship and their song "Old Friends Brothers". They met in 1965 at the University of Washington while on the football team, formed a group called "The Morning Ryde" competed against the Carpenters in a talent show, and one friend later joined The Brothers Four. After continuing as a duo and almost having their song "Dear Partner" recorded by Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, both friends eventually became members of The Brothers Four, reflecting on their enduring bond.
