Class of '65

Mark on stage playing guitar in a pale blue shirt for the class of '65 concert

In the Summer of 2022 Pearson returned to the high school auditorium where 60 years earlier he and nearly a thousand other kids came together and formed the Lewis and Clark High School Class of 65. On the stage where he had performed for the first time 6 decades earlier, Pearson talked about the importance of those long-ago years while singing songs written for that day and individual classmates.
The universal appeal of those songs can be found in the studio recordings of the album Class of 65.

A video of the entire concert can be found on Pearson’s YouTube channel. Besides introductions to songs, the concert video contains bonus tracks of Pearson reuniting with the members of the first group he ever sang with as well as him and his lifelong friend, Dan Eaton, playing their four string banjos as they did so often in their school days.
